In the autumn of 2024, Lily—newly appointed trainer, scarcely two days into her post at Equinox—offered a cold towel to Baylor: newly arrived in the city, strikingly handsome, and wholly unaware that his presence would soon disrupt her professionalism. A gym crush was promptly established. What followed for weeks were brief conversations, cautious smiles, and many nervous glances exchanged across the gym. Until Baylor, kind and brave, resolved the matter by asking Lily to dinner. That very night Baylor arrived in a red, self-driving, electric-powered steed, causing Lily a moment of understandable concern. What would her father think of his most beloved daughter being swept off by a gentleman not in a gas-guzzler? Yet Baylor’s impeccable manners soon prevailed, and after a brief internal debate, Lily entered the carriage. Greenpoint on Knox bore witness to their first date together. Everything aligned at once. Lily, convinced such perfection could not possibly endure, spent the night certain this would be both the first and final date with her dream man. Baylor ensured it was only the beginning. All sensible rules of courtship were immediately abandoned. They saw one another nearly every day for the next month and fell swiftly into love. Baylor still maintains she is loved slightly more, having been the first to say it (a claim Lily neither confirms nor denies). Early on, Baylor arranged a surprise outing to the Arboretum. The evening was cold. The rain was persistent. Neither complained. They walked on, soaked and laughing, making a valiant effort to appear unbothered. While far from ideal, it proved to be excellent luck. One year later, Baylor returned Lily to that very place. Though rain threatened once more, the heavens paused just long enough for him to kneel, for Lily to say yes, and for a promise to be made. On January 9th, they were engaged. Now they adventure, pray, laugh, and build a life together—grateful for where they’ve been and eager for what comes next. They are deeply in love and most ready for their happily ever after.

We invite guests to dress in formal attire. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome but not required. Dark suits with a tie, elevated cocktail dresses, or dressy pantsuits are also perfect choices.

A block of rooms has been reserved for our guests at the Hilton Dallas/Park Cities for a reduced rate of $299 per night. Guests of the Hilton will receive 20% off food &amp; beverage at the hotel restaurant. This is a valet-only property. The valet rate is $20 per night. The booking deadline for the Hilton is May 22nd.

The JW Marriott is a 7-minute walk from our reception venue, the Dallas Petroleum Club. A block of rooms has been reserved for our guests at a reduced rate of $359 per night. Valet parking is $65 per night. Self parking is available at the 2000 Ross Garage for $30 per day, with no in &amp; out privileges. The self parking garage is not managed by the hotel. The booking deadline for the JW Marriott is May 15th.

FIFA World Cup

On Sunday, June 14th, AT&amp;T Stadium in Arlington will host a 2026 FIFA World Cup match between the Netherlands and Japan at 3:00pm. This is the first of nine matches assigned to the Dallas-Fort Worth area!

Katy Trail

We love walking the Katy Trail, and sometimes taking it to dinner on Knox! Our favorite restaurants on Knox are Pizzana, Taverna &amp; Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar.

White Rock Lake & Dallas Arboretum

We love walking at White Rock Lake, and spending time at the nearby Arboretum where we got engaged!

NorthPark

NorthPark Center is a great mall for shopping and seeing a movie.

Coffee Shops

Some of our favorite coffee shops are Berkley's Market and White Rock Coffee.

Mi Cocina

We love all Mi Cocina locations, but the Klyde Warren Park restaurant is super unique and probably our favorite!

Las Palmas

This is a great Mexican restaurant in the middle of Uptown with a fun nighttime atmosphere and nice patio.

Flower Child

We love this healthy lunch spot!
